A common sense approach to confronting tough employee performance situations.
Chosen as one of the top 10 training programs by Training Media Review, The Courage To Coach outlines a specific four-step process for coaching that will work in any employee performance situation. Managers will learn how to reach agreement on the problem, develop an action plan for correcting the problem and follow up with the employee.
This program can be used in a facilitator-led training session, a one-hour lunch and learn program, or as a self-study course. The Facilitator-led training session is designed for a one- or two-hour focused training agenda. The video can either be used in its entirety or as a stop-and-discuss tool.
The Training Leader’s Guide includes role-playing exercises that give participants the opportunity to practice the steps, as well as an action plan exercise that helps participants tackle a real-life coaching situation when they get back to work.
